Seven or eight breakouts per grade band, each built on a different adopted text — creation, the flood, the Ten Commandments, the burning bush and the Red Sea, Jonah, the Psalms, Ecclesiastes, the Good Samaritan, humility at the feast, Solomon, Esther, Job, the Last Supper, the Sermon on the Mount, and Paul on love. Every one is studied as literature: sequence, theme, genre, archetype, allusion, and the line between what a text states and what a reader believes.
