Start with the all-categories overview, then jump to the STAAR reporting category you're reviewing. Each category leads with a one-page sheet of five cue cards, followed by individual concept cards you can pull on their own. Most concept cards also offer a 4-page activity packet (Retrieve · Apply · ACE · teacher key). The count updates from the manifest.

Five ways to use them
- Spiral grades 3–5 — build the vocabulary and pictures early so grade 5 review is recall, not re-teach.
- Make abstract ideas visible — the water cycle, circuits, and food chains as one clear diagram.
- Anchor each reporting category — a picture sticks when a paragraph doesn't.
- Support intervention & stations — one card per concept for small groups and tutoring.
- Build the cue before test day — so the printable is a familiar friend, not a surprise.
The visual should help students retrieve an idea they already understand — not replace the understanding.
