These digital math tools for PreK and Kindergarten are safe for classroom use by design: the pages collect nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. There are no accounts, no logins, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and no data sent to any server. Every tool runs entirely inside the browser. The only thing a tool may store is a teacher's on-device settings (such as difficulty level or language), kept in your own browser's localStorage, which never leaves the device and contains no student information.

No outside requests

Each tool is a single self-contained HTML file with all code, styles, and artwork inline. There are no remote fonts, images, scripts, or libraries, so the tools work fully offline from a local file, a USB drive, or a static website. Every page sets <meta name="referrer" content="no-referrer">.

Spoken directions

Audio directions and feedback use the browser's built-in speech feature. No microphone is used, no recordings are made, and no voice data is stored or transmitted.

A note on student work

Anything a child builds, counts, or sorts stays on the screen only. Nothing is saved, submitted, or shared. Close the tab and it is gone. Follow your district's policies for any student-created artifacts produced with other tools.

How this maps to the rules that protect students

Texas Data Privacy Agreement (SDPA / TX-DPA) — no student data is created, stored, processed, or shared by these pages.
FERPA — no education records are created, stored, or shared.
COPPA — no personal information is collected from children under 13.
GDPR — no personal data processing; there is nothing to export or erase.
Texas SCOPE Act & TEC §32.151–32.156 — no data collection, targeted advertising, or profiling of minors.
CIPA — static, self-contained educational content with no user-generated communication.

Accessibility

Large touch targets for tablets, Chromebooks, and interactive displays.
High contrast, with meaning never carried by color alone — labels, shapes, and text accompany color cues.
Optional spoken directions and feedback for pre-readers; keyboard-operable controls.
No timers, buzzers, losing screens, scores, or leaderboards — students may retry freely.

Standards & framing

Activities are aligned to, not reproduced from, the 2022 Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines, the Kindergarten Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (Kindergarten). Alignments are a good-faith, paraphrased mapping.
