A privacy-first literature learning arcade for grades 6–12 — read, reason, and play across acclaimed and public-domain works, in seven languages.
PlotPoint is a literature learning arcade for grades 6–12 — investigate artifacts, crack evidence-based breakouts, play literary games, and explain your thinking across acclaimed and public-domain works. It runs entirely in the browser, in seven languages, with no logins and no data collected, and every room is built on the ACE Framework (Articulate · Connect · Extend).
Miguel Guhlin conceived and directs PlotPoint. He selects the works, sets the pedagogy and design — the ACE Framework, the privacy-first architecture, and seven-language access — establishes the guardrails (public-domain sourcing; copyrighted works paraphrased and never reproduced), and curates, edits, and reviews every room: hooks, vocabulary, relic-room artifacts, breakouts, arcade games, analysis, and transfer tasks.
The written content, the room engine, the artwork, and the translations are produced with the help of generative-AI tools and refined under his direction and editorial review. In short: the vision, curation, standards, and final decisions are Miguel's; AI is a drafting-and-production assistant, always with a human in the loop.
Miguel Guhlin is a longtime educator and educational-technology writer focused on teaching, learning, and equitable access to technology.
Original content is licensed CC BY-NC 4.0; the code is MIT. Public-domain texts are linked directly (Project Gutenberg, LibriVox, and others); copyrighted works are analyzed and never reproduced. The seven-language translations are machine-assisted and flagged for local educator review.
PlotPoint is part of the Learning Activities Hub — free to use and free to share.
